ABOUT
The Campbell County Drug Free Alliance originally began in 2007 as the Southern Campbell County Coalition (SCCC) when key community partners accomplished the task of uniting local agencies to address youth substance use prevention in Campbell County. In 2011, the coalition decided that there was a need to stretch its prevention services county-wide to accommodate the growing membership that included community members from throughout the county. This new county-wide coalition now included the northern cities, and thus, the Campbell County Drug Free Alliance (CCDFA) was formed.
Today, the Campbell County Drug Free Alliance is a diverse group of community members that share a common desire to focus on youth substance use prevention in Campbell County. The coalition directs its efforts on prevention, education, reducing drug access and availability and policy change.
